The untold true story of Operation:
Oblivion, a secret World-War II special forces unit comprised of Chinese-
Canadian soldiers, with celebrated filmmaker Keith Lock’s personal
documentary “Relics of Love and War,” and scholar Eunice Der’s
award-winning presentation “Lost from Oblivion” on how the unit’s material
culture worked to challenge and reshape the standard narratives of
Canadian history to include racialized communities.
