Aurora Cultural Centre presents Sue Foley (BLUES)

Multi-award-winning blues artist, Sue Foley presents “One Guitar Woman” a show devoted to the female pioneers of guitar. These are the women who were expressing themselves through the instrument as far back as the 1920’s, at the inception of radio and recorded music including Maybelle Carter, Memphis Minnie, Mary Osborne, Sister Rosetta Tharpe and more. Celebrating these women of excellence, Sue presents an evening of varied guitar styles and musical genres interspersed with their stories and her own personal narrative.
