Julian Taylor is one of the most compelling and
versatile singer-songwriters in Canada. A JUNO-nominated artist of Mohawk
and Caribbean descent, he weaves rock, folk, soul, and country together
with an emotional honesty entirely his own. A fixture of the Canadian
music scene for over 25 years, Taylor broke through to a whole new
audience with his 2020 solo album The Ridge - earning two JUNO
nominations, the Canadian Folk Music Award for Solo Artist of the Year,
and a Polaris Music Prize nomination - and confirmed his standing with
Beyond the Reservoir and his 2024 release Pathways. Called "a balm for
these jarring times" by Canadian Musician, Taylor delivers electrifying
live performances that move from full-band command to captivating,
intimate solo sets
