Get ready for a night of female-led folk music that will
have you on your feet. Winners of the 2025 Canadian Folk Music Award for
Best New/Emerging Artist, Maggie's Wake masterfully weave Celtic reels,
Cajun twin fiddles, classic country, and world rhythms into a sound that
is both traditional and strikingly original. Their 2024 self-titled debut
earned worldwide critical acclaim, and they've been invited to perform at
Belfast's 2026 "Your Roots Are Showing" conference. Fronted by songwriter
and multi-instrumentalist Tara Dunphy and internationally recognized
fiddler Lindsay Schindler - joined by Andrew Kosty on bass and Kenneth
Palmer on guitar - this is a can't-miss night of live music that is as
soulful as it is exhilarating.
