Aurora Cultural Centre presents Tulua
November 6, 2026
Supported by North Atlantic Drift
When
Ireland meets Cape Breton on the same stage, something incredible happens.
Tulua - four young Irish musicians whose name means "tribe of many paths"
- make their Canadian debut on a coast-to-coast tour, immersing audiences
in a sound of fiddle, flute, guitar, and piano that is joyful and entirely
their own. Official showcase artists at the 2025 Folk Alliance
International Conference in Montreal, they have built a devoted following
through their deep engagement with the Irish tradition. Joining them are
Toronto's North Atlantic Drift, featuring Cape Breton fiddler Dan
MacDonald and multi-instrumental virtuoso Brian Taheny, whose music traces
the centuries-old trading route between Ireland, Scotland, and Canada's
East Coast. Together, they bring the warmth and spontaneity of a
traditional session straight to the Aurora stage
