Director Hubert Davis reinvents Youngblood as a sharp, hard-hitting hockey drama that goes far beyond the rink. Smart and emotionally charged, the film explores masculinity, race, and ambition through Dean Youngblood (Ashton James), a gifted but volatile player given one last chance at greatness with the Hamilton Mustangs. Facing a toxic locker room, a skeptical coach, and high-stakes pressure on and off the ice, this bold reimagining of the 1986 classic delivers gripping drama and real heart.
